An exhibition specializing in the fields of adhesion, coating and film has been held, which does not fall out of various fields such as architecture, machinery, semiconductors, displays and the automobile industry.
The 10th ArtemFair, which will be held for three days from Tuesday to Monday at KINTEX in Ilsan, aims to check the current state of the cutting-edge, eco-adhesion and coating, film, materials and device industries and gauge the future.
The "10th AtemFair" consists of "Technical services such as adhesives, coating agents, functional films, evaluation equipment, manufacturing equipment, raw materials, test analysis and patents," which can be applied to a wide range of fields, including machinery industry, energy, aerospace, nanotechnology, architecture and plants.
The event provided an opportunity for exhibitors to attract foreign buyers and actively interact with visitors.
Among the participating companies, SilverStarChemical is a company that develops and sells technologies to localize HOT MELT adhesives. The exhibition featured "polyamide hot-melt adhesive," which becomes solid when applied in liquid at high temperatures, as its main product.
If polyamide, a polymer compound, is dissolved, it becomes liquid, and if applied to a coating agent, it hardens within seconds and becomes adhesive. Because it is a liquid phase, it can be glued by spray or a lip paint method, and it can be processed by secondary process in film form. In addition, VOCs, volatile organic compounds, are not included and can be used in more diverse areas.
"We participated in this exhibition to promote our products to visitors and meet various customers through this exhibition." said Jeon Dae-gil, a senior researcher at SilverStarChemical Co. "We hope to introduce hot-melt adhesives developed in Korea to customers who have relied only on imported products to become a new lamp for Korean manufacturers."
